Check it before the season, not during it

ENERGY STAR recommends annual pre-season check-ups: the cooling system in spring and the heating system in fall, before contractors get busy. A tune-up looks at the parts that most affect comfort and efficiency.

The scope

  • Cooling check — coils, condensate drain, blower and system operation checked before summer.
  • Heating check — burner area, blower and system operation checked before winter.
  • Filter and airflow — filter checked or replaced and airflow components checked.
Seasonal tune-ups are included in the annual maintenance plan on our Offers page.
