Who we are

Austin Air Duct Cleaning (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a locally owned air duct, dryer vent, HVAC, chimney and attic service business based in Austin, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through austinductcleaning.us, our estimate, contact, booking and job-application forms, and communications about residential and commercial service requests.

Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to info@austinductcleaning.us, or you can call (512) 354-2780.

We monitor this email address and phone number for privacy questions and requests.

Information you provide

We collect the information you give us when you request an estimate, book an appointment online, ask a question, apply for a job, or discuss work at a property. Depending on your inquiry, this can include:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Your ZIP code, city, property address and whether the property is residential or commercial.
  • Your company name and role or relationship to the property.
  • The services you are interested in, property details, access requirements, preferred timing and other information you include in your message.
  • When you book online: the service or offer you choose, the date and arrival window, the service address and any notes for the technician.
  • When you apply for a job: your contact details, the role you are interested in, information about your experience and any resume or file you choose to attach.
  • Photos, documents or other files you choose to provide where an upload option is available.
  • Correspondence and information needed to follow up on your request or arrange agreed work.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not include payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical information, building security codes or other sensitive information in website forms or uploads. If you provide information about another person, make sure you are authorized to share it.

Website and technical information

The systems that deliver and protect a website can process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, referral information and access times.

Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. Its servers, caching and content delivery network automatically record this technical information in server logs, which are used to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. Our forms include anti-spam measures, such as hidden fields that automated programs tend to fill in, to block fraudulent submissions.

While you book online, the booking tool keeps your selections (such as the chosen service, ZIP code and address) in your browser’s session storage so they are not lost between steps. This information stays in your browser until you submit the booking, and it is cleared when you close the browser tab.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a website analytics service, to understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Clarity records how you interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movements, together with device and browser details, and uses this to produce usage statistics, heatmaps and session replays. It masks the text you type into form fields, and we do not use it to identify you. Microsoft processes this information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking tools on the website.

How we use information

We use information relevant to your request to:

  • Respond to questions and contact you about the work you requested.
  • Assess service availability, understand the property and prepare or discuss an estimate.
  • Coordinate property access, scheduling and agreed services.
  • Maintain inquiry and service records and address follow-up questions.
  • Operate and protect the website, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations and address disputes.

Submitting an estimate or contact form asks us to respond to your inquiry. It does not, by itself, confirm an appointment or authorize unrelated marketing.

We use your contact details to communicate about your request, appointment or service, for example a summary of your request by email, a booking confirmation, or a call or text message to arrange a visit. We do not currently send promotional email or SMS campaigns. If we start, we will ask for your permission first, and every promotional message will include a simple way to unsubscribe. Message and data rates may apply to text messages.

When information is shared

Information needed to handle your inquiry or agreed services is made available to the team members responsible for that work. Operational service providers may also process relevant information on our behalf, including our website hosting and content delivery provider, Microsoft (which provides our website analytics through Microsoft Clarity) and the services we use to deliver email and store form and booking records.

The information involved can include contact details, property and service-request details, correspondence and technical information, depending on the provider’s function. We may also disclose relevant information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Service providers may use the information only to perform services for us.

Cookies, embedded content and privacy choices

Cookies and similar technologies can store information in a browser or help a website recognize visits. Browser settings let you manage or remove cookies; blocking some technologies can affect website features.

Microsoft Clarity uses first-party and third-party cookies (such as _clck, _clsk and CLID) to recognize returning visits and group page views into sessions for our analytics. We do not set other cookies for visitors; further cookies are set only when an authorized user signs in to the website’s administration area, to keep that session signed in. The online booking tool uses your browser’s session storage as described above. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies, including those used by Clarity, in your browser settings.

Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is currently nothing to opt out of. If we add advertising or similar technologies in the future, we will update this policy, provide the required choices, and honor applicable browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

Our website includes links to third-party websites, such as review platforms and social networks. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them. Third-party content embedded directly in a page can also transmit technical information to its provider when it loads, without you following an external link.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling inquiries, providing agreed services, maintaining required records and resolving disputes. The appropriate period depends on the record, our legal obligations and any ongoing matter requiring its retention. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or deidentified, subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we handle. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests and choices

Contact info@austinductcleaning.us or call (512) 354-2780 to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. We may need information to verify that a request concerns you or someone you are authorized to represent. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate verification method with you.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain significant automated decisions. We handle requests within applicable legal deadlines and explain any limitation on a request. We do not retaliate for exercising applicable privacy rights.

If a request is denied, you can seek review by contacting the same email address or phone number and identifying the decision you want reviewed. We will explain the outcome and any further complaint options. Texas residents can also contact the Texas Attorney General’s consumer protection office.

Children’s information

Our website is intended for adults seeking property services, not children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so we can investigate and address it appropriately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for changes affecting the use of personal information already collected.
